Bubbles wood

Since I attended a conference on myxomycetes, I was looking for these fascinating organisms around here. The nice weather we had the last days (18°C yesterday) allowed the development of colourful sorocarps (containing spores) from Trichia decipiens

 

They evolve quickly and within 24 hours, spores are being disseminated.

 

Now let’s find a plasmodium, the next step of this organism after development of spores.
